Privacy Policy

This policy covers the MEAW iPhone app and the website at meawllc.com, including the MEAW web dashboard and the online shop.

What we collect

• Account email – the email address you sign in with (and your password, stored only as a salted hash).
• Item photos and listing data you upload – photos you take or choose, and the titles, descriptions, prices, notes and other item details you enter or edit. The app only reads the photos you pick.
• Marketplace connection tokens – if you connect an eBay seller account, the access token eBay issues, so MEAW can manage your listings and read your sales for you.
• Order information for store purchases – when you buy from meawllc.com, your name, email, shipping address and order details. Payments go through PayPal; we never receive your full card number.

If you allow notifications, the app also stores an Apple push token so we can tell you about sales and item updates. The app has no advertising, analytics or tracking SDKs and does not collect your location or contacts.

How we use it

Only to run the service: storing your items, drafting and publishing your listings, keeping quantities in sync, and completing and shipping orders.

Who we share it with

Only with the marketplace, payment and shipping providers you connect or use, and only what they need to do their part:

• eBay – your listings and sales, for accounts you connect.
• PayPal – payment for store purchases.
• Shippo – shipping labels for orders.

Two more services process data on our behalf:

• Google Gemini – used only by the business owner’s web dashboard to look up prices for bundled “lot” listings. It receives item details such as the title, brand and model, never your photos.
• Apple, Cloudflare and DigitalOcean – push notifications, secure connections and website hosting.

AI photo analysis runs on MEAW’s own computers: if you allow it, item photos and your notes are analyzed by MEAW’s own AI model to identify the item and draft the listing, and aren’t sent to outside AI services. The app asks before the first analysis, and you can turn it off anytime in the app’s Settings.

We do not sell your data or share it for advertising.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account in the MEAW app under Settings → Delete Account. This immediately deletes your account, items, photos, sign-in tokens and stored marketplace tokens. Listings already live on eBay are not ended; manage those on eBay. You can also email admin@meawllc.com from the address on your account and we will delete it within 30 days. Sales records we must keep for tax and accounting are retained.
